Crowfly Enterprise T/A Beaconsfield Taxis – Terms & Conditions
General Booking Conditions:
- Advance Notice: A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for bookings. For urgent requests, please contact us via the phone number on our website or through Web Chat and WhatsApp.
- Journey Acknowledgement Email: Upon payment, you will automatically receive an ‘LT Journey Acknowledgement’ email. It is your responsibility to check that all details are accurate.
- Journey Details Email: You will receive a ‘Journey Details’ email within 24 hours before your journey if it falls outside of the 24-hour window. This email will include the driver’s contact details, car make, and model. In some cases, this may also be sent via SMS. Crowfly Enterprise and its trading businesses will not be liable for delays in sending this information.
Liability and Travel Guidelines:
- Missed Flights: Crowfly Enterprise does not accept responsibility for missed flights caused by traffic delays, accidents, breakdowns, severe weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before flight departure.
- If you choose to allow less time, we accept no liability for missed flights.
- Travel Insurance: Passengers are advised to ensure they have adequate travel and medical insurance before booking.
- Alternative Transport: In the event of a vehicle breakdown or traffic delay, we will attempt to arrange alternative transportation. However, we will not provide compensation for delays or costs incurred by passengers who choose not to wait for the replacement vehicle.
Vehicle Capacity and Delays:
- Vehicle Capacity: It is your responsibility to ensure the booked vehicle meets your luggage and passenger requirements. If the vehicle capacity is exceeded, no responsibility will be accepted.
- Serious Flight Delays: Please inform us or the driver immediately in case of delays to allow us to adjust schedules accordingly.
Pricing and Charges:
- Fixed Prices: Pricing is based on the details provided at the time of booking. Any changes to the journey plan may incur additional fees.
- Vehicle Upgrades: We reserve the right to provide a higher-category vehicle at no extra cost if your selected vehicle is unavailable.
- Waiting Time:
- At airports or seaports, the first 45 minutes of waiting time from the plane’s landing time is free.
- After this, a charge of £30/hour or £7.50/15 minutes applies, calculated from the requested pickup time.
- Tolls: All tolls are included in the quoted pricing. Any increase will be communicated by the driver.
Amendments and Cancellations:
- Amendments: Changes must be made via email or phone at least 24 hours before the journey. Amendments cannot be made with the driver directly.
- Cancellations:
- Bookings can be canceled with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.
- Refunds will not be issued for no-shows, late cancellations, or if sufficient notice is not provided.
Refund Policy:
Refunds will not be granted under the following conditions:
- Failure to wait for your driver.
- Failure to show up for prepaid journeys.
- Breakdowns or delays communicated in advance.
Privacy:
Your personal information is used strictly to process bookings and may be shared with third parties to fulfill transfers. All data is handled in accordance with GDPR regulations.
Additional Services:
- Child Seats: Child seats are not provided unless specifically requested. Passengers can use their own seats for return journeys.
- Executive Cars: We offer BMW, Audi, and Mercedes vehicles but may substitute with standard cars during peak periods.
- Night Rates: Peak rates apply from 11:00 PM to 5:59 AM.
Airport and City Charges:
- Heathrow Drop-Off Charges: Fixed pricing includes Heathrow drop-off fees. Additional charges may apply for parking and extended wait times.
- Congestion/ULEZ Charges: These are not included in fixed pricing and will be quoted at the time of booking.
Bank Holidays and Events:
- Holiday Surcharges: Additional rates apply during bank holidays and religious or business events. Customers will be informed in advance.
